Pappas featured speaker in AHA Value Initiative webinar
The American Hospital Association (AHA) Value Initiative will a webinar on Tuesday Oct. 1 at 1-2 p.m. ET to assist nurses in assessing patient risk to guide staffing decisions. Emory Healthcare Chief Nurse Executive Sharon Pappas, PhD, RN, and Beverly Hancock, ҹɫÍõ³¯ senior director for leadership development, will lead the webinar with AHA’s Julia Resnick, senior program manager of The Value Initiative. Pappas is a former ҹɫÍõ³¯ board member. Attendees will learn how implementing the Patient Risk Assessment Profile can reduce adverse events and save hospitals money.
